It turned out many of our fellow Expats are dedicated hikers. Hence, we decided to have a small afterwork walk up to Alpe Schwende – a very nicely located mountain hut with a great view on Lake Constance.
All participants enjoyed regional food like goat cheese or the famous “Lumpensalat” (salad made out of sausages) – and of course some drinks to refill the body with enough liquid after the hike.
During dinner, some local guys even started to perform traditional songs with their instruments.
All in all, it was a great evening with just one challenge – finding the way back safely in the dark.
