What a journey! 🌟 6 months with Expat V 🌍
Just six months ago, we embarked on the Expat Service Vorarlberg (Expat V) adventure, but it already feels like we’ve been on this incredible journey for much longer! 😄
We began as a small team of two: Claudia Neumayr and Jakob Sieber. However, with our first meetup in May, the Expat community expanded massively. We were thrilled to welcome around 120 Expats to the event! 🎉
Since then, numerous exciting developments have taken place:
✅ We’ve organized approximately 20 events, including hikes, meetups and family adventures.
✅ We’ve provided assistance to expats and companies with various administrative matters.
✅ We’ve expanded our network to make Vorarlberg a better place for internationals – together.
✅ We’ve initiated communication through email, our website, and social media (check us out on Instagram and Facebook). 📧💻📱
Throughout all these activities, we’ve gained valuable insights:
👉 Expats here are highly motivated to participate in social events and expand their personal networks.
👉 Conversely, many Vorarlbergers are eager to join our community to connect with internationals.
👉 Our lovely region of Vorarlberg offers expats not only breathtaking nature but also a diverse array of cultural, sporting, and event experiences. 🌄🎭🏟️
What’s on the horizon:
🚀 While there’s interest from both expats and Vorarlbergers, bridging the gap remains a challenge. That’s why we’ll be organising events to bring together both groups in the upcoming months. 👫🤝
🚀 Expats are eager to learn German, and it’s even better to learn together. That’s why we’re offering cross-company conversation German classes this autumn. 🇩🇪📚
🚀 We’ve just launched our brand-new Expat V WhatsApp Service to keep you informed about our activities and the best regional events even more easily! 📲🎉
