The Nikololauf (Santa’s Run) takes you on a festive 4 km route through Bregenz city centre, surrounded by lots of people dressed as Santa. It’s a lovely way to get into the Christmas spirit, enjoy the atmosphere and have some fun together.
A Santa costume is optional, but we’d love to see as many of the Expat V crew in costume as possible! You can order one when you register for the run, wear your own Christmas outfit or simply come as you are. Claudia and Jakob have already ordered theirs 😊

Register with Expat V via this link so we know you’re coming.
- Register and buy your ticket on the official event website. You’ll need to do this separately to take part in the run. You can also order your costume there.
When registering on the official website, please enter “Expat V” in the “Verein” field. This will appear on your race number so we can spot each other as a team.
If you’re running in costume, please also enter “Expat V” in the field “Teamname für grösste Nikolo-Gruppe mit Kostüm”.
No need to be a sports champion to join us! Take the run at your own pace, or give it your best shot. Claudia will lead the relaxed group, while Jakob will do his best to reach his first post-run drink as quickly as possible 😉 And speaking of drinks: Expat V will buy one for everyone who takes part at the Christmas market afterwards! 🍻
If you absolutely don’t want to run, you can also come and cheer for the expat community.
